Warner's Camp :: An ADK Retreat

Hey guys!

Hope everyone out east has been getting their fill of the beautiful foliage this month :)

If you’ve been following along with my Instagram, you’ll know I’ve been ALL OVER for the last few weeks. I’ve definitely logged at least a couple thousands miles on my car!! Of course, the most near and dear place to seek out the Autumn colors will always be my home mountains, the Adirondacks, here in New York.

That’s why I was SO thrilled for our recent stay at Warner’s Camp, located right in the midst of the high peaks.

From the moment we stepped out of the car, we knew this place was special. Located right alongside the river, you’re instantly greeted by beautiful, serene mountain views. The interiors were a wonderful integration of rustic camp vibes and all the modern luxuries we seek out on our mini vacations (tv, record player, wifi…). Being the seeker of all cozy things, I instantly gravitated toward the living room, with its wood stove and windows that look right out on the water.

The cabin has ample bedrooms to choose from (two downstairs, and a master bedroom upstairs). It’s easy to see how this would make the PERFECT getaway for your girl gang / family trip (I’m dying to head back in the winter, as it’s a super easy commute to nearby Whiteface Mt.!).

I also loved all the indoor/outdoor spaces, from the mudroom off the kitchen to the porch right by the living room. Plus the whole downstairs has big windows that allow tons of natural light to filter in throughout the day. With my family’s cabin situated an hour south in North Creek, I’ve never had much of a need to stay up in the High Peaks. But this place really is SO centrally located, we felt spoiled!! Keene is an easy ten minutes south, Lake Placid is a quick scenic drive away (along with all the activities that dot the way). There’s COUNTLESS hikes nearby, agh, honestly, you can never be bored while staying here! Even if you’re just looking for a few “chill” days to unwind at the cabin, you can’t go wrong :)

Since we were traveling with a friend who had never visited the area before, we decided to give her a little taste of everything the area had to offer. A morning of hiking, followed by doing touristy things in Lake Placid, and then rounding it out with an outdoor bonfire/ movie / s’more making party back at the cabin made for the PERFECT trifecta of activities.

If you’d like to book your own cozy stay at Warner’s Camp, head here!

Can’t wait to share more from this month with you guys, but for now, it’s back to the road I go!
